Consultation on the phone is free.
To proceed with our experts and open a case/file we charge AED 150 per case or file. This excludes typing-centre fees, certified translations, government penalties, and court charges — those are billed at actual cost with receipts where applicable.
Immigration and labour rules change. Always verify the latest requirements on official portals such as GDRFA Dubai , Federal Authority for Identity & Citizenship (ICP) , UAE Government Portal (u.ae) , and MOHRE before travel or filing complaints.
Documents every employee should safeguard
- Labour contract (MOHRE-approved) matching your job title, salary, allowances, and probation clause.
- Offer letter / annexures that align with the labour contract you signed.
- Visa & Emirates ID copies — validity dates must track your legal stay and medical insurance period.
- WPS salary slips / bank statements showing timely wage transfers where applicable.
- Attendance / overtime records if your dispute involves hours worked or unpaid increments.
- Official portals often request colour passport copies, digital photo specs, and sponsored-dependent proofs — cross-check the exact checklist on ICP service detail pages before submission.
Rights & where to escalate
UAE employment relations are governed by Federal Decree-Law No. 33 of 2021 (as amended) on the Regulation of Labour Relations, implemented through MOHRE channels for most mainland employers.
If wages are delayed or arbitrary deductions appear, employees can raise complaints via MOHRE smart channels (call centre, service centres, or the MOHRE app, subject to current procedures). Free-zone workers typically route grievances through their respective authority — check your contract footer for jurisdiction.
Workplace safety concerns link to MOHRE / Ministry of Human Resources & Emiratisation guidelines and, where relevant, local municipality occupational rules.
AL Gousiyah explains routes and prepares bilingual affidavits or Arabic filings where needed, but we are not a law firm. Complex litigation still requires a UAE-licensed lawyer.
Recognising exploitation warning signs
- Passport retention beyond legally justified timelines.
- Forced repayment bonds unrelated to agreed training costs.
- Threats tied to absconding filings without due process.
- Overtime routinely unpaid despite contractual obligations.
- Unauthorized salary deductions or delayed WPS transfers.
